Industrial Painter - Afternoon Shift

This position is Monday-Thursday 3:30 PM - 2:00 AM

Primary Function: Industrial Painter for production brush and spray operation, involving liquid or powder coating of manufactured products requiring custom finish.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Grind parts with high-speed grinder
  • Clean, mask and sand parts
  • Prep industrial parts to automotive standards
  • Maintain equipment used, work safely and consistently use safety equipment
  • Properly catalyze/mix polyurethane and epoxy paints to consistent viscosity for either spray or brush applications
  • Prime and paint industrial part to automotive finish quality

Minimum Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 2 years experience as production painter (automotive quality)
  • Must have own tools
  • Experience with quality system requirements, such as ISO-9000, QS-9000 and ISO-17025
  • Experience with gravity-fed and pressure-pot equipment

Physical Requirements

  • Position is located in a manufacturing environment, and will involve hands-on work with tools.  Physical activity will include lifting (up to 75lbs.), bending, stooping, crouching, reaching, hand-eye coordination, and manual dexterity.
