Calibration Service Technician

Primary Function: Maintain, test, and repair a variety of instrumentation and equipment while providing exceptional service to our customers and channels by traveling to plants and other on-site locations to ensure our products are operating effectively and efficiently. 

Core Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that instruments, gauges, and testing devices are calibrated correctly and give accurate readings
  • Ensure that customers are compliant with ISO 17025 calibration standards by completing annual calibrations on customer's testing equipment. 
    • Areas of calibration include: torque, rotation speed, air temperature/humidity/speed
  • Complete regular preventative maintenance for customer's testing equipment by replacing worn out parts, filters, or other components before they fail
  • Ensure customer's are running the latest company software and solutions
  • Identify upgrade opportunities for software & hardware as well as new solutions for customers

Minimum requirements:

  • Minimum 2-year degree in Mechatronics, Industrial Electronics or related
  • Strong programmable logic controller (PLC), pneumatics, and electrical or electronics experiencee
  • Minimum 2 years experience in repair or maintenance of electrical/electronic/pneumatic equipment
  • Knowledge of electronics, software controls, and calibration instruments
  • Ability to travel locally

Physical Requirements:

Position is located in a manufacturing environment, and will involve hands-on work with tools and testing equipment. Physical activity will include lifting (up to 50 lbs.), bending, stooping, crouching, reaching, hand-eye coordination, and manual dexterity.
